Visual Notes
Learning is as unique as your fingerprint
My learning has always been defined by a need to create and find relatable connections through visualization
For most of my life I was not permitted to “take notes” the way that I needed - so I would comply, to then go home and draw illustrations to make sense out of what I heard
I always kept my notes hidden
Until one day about 10 years ago, while attending a professional conference
Someone looked over my shoulder and said, “What is that?”
I felt like I was in trouble again. But then they asked if they could have a copy
Then other people asked for copies
Then more people asked me to create notes for them
Then organizations asked me to create notes for their meetings
It still feels a bit strange,
For most of my life I was prevented from creating what I call “visual notes” -
and now have people request them - even pay for me to create them

Beasts without biomes

Beasts Without Biomes is currently going through a period of transition. As a trio, we created, recorded and performed for over a decade together.
All continues to be good in the world of creativity and music.
The band will continue to create, but with a changed lineup
The next iteration of Beasts will most certainly sound and feel different.

Radical Rubber Band Ball of Chris is a short narrative film about a young boy who escapes into his art, music, and has a boundless imagination. But when life takes an unexpected turn, his creativity leads him somewhere new—somewhere mysterious.
Film is currently in post production - with a goal to screen in Fall of 2025
